Hihi! This is my personal lil astronomy page where I’ll be putting all my astronomy studies in like an absolute nerd. I’m a hugehuge nerd for astronomy, it’s one of the things I enjoy most! I hope you like the studies I’ll be putting in here! It’s nice to have a place I can put my most favorite interests in and actually have people read it??? I really love astronomy c:

(I enlarged the pic so hopefully you can see it c: ) This little dot in the sky is arcturus, it’s easier to see its orange color when it’s dark but my camera couldn’t capture it when it was dark so it looks more white herearcturus is 25x the diameter of our sun and is 36.7 light-years away in the constellation BoötesArcturus shines about 113 to 170 times brighter than the Sun and is about 7.1 billion years oldAlthough it’s a dying star it’ll shine for a few million years before turning into a Planetary Nebula and then eventually over 500,000 years will turn into a white dwarfthis is more of an entry if I’m being honest, but I wish I’d be able to see galaxies, or stars, or whatever in space with my own eyes. Yeah, sure I can see stars from here, but I yearn to be able to actually see them. I yearn to be able actually be up in space. I know I could be scary; wormholes, pulsar stars, black holes, but just image being able to be staring all that in face. Sure images exist, but that’ll never compare to seeing it face to face. Honestly I believe somewhere, just somewhere, there just has to be one planet where there’s life, intelligent life maybe. I just find it hard to believe there’d be not a single planet in this huge space without life on it. Theres huge, huge galaxies, I’m talking thousands of planets, how could there not be one, single planet with life on it? I’m getting off topic, I hate staring up at the sky sometimes just wishing I could be far,far away from here looking at nebulas, other planets, etc. Imagine how beautiful it’d be to see the Milky Way with your own eyes, it’s a feeling I can’t name.
